Aged To Perfection

Who says aging isn't beautiful! 

I couldn't help but fall in love with this withering daffodil earlier this month.

As time went by the petals became more dimensional.

The texture, more dynamic.

The color, more vibrant.

Past it's prime but more perfect with each passing day.

It's raining today and we need it! Spring is brimming with life and color these days with buds and blossoms of all kinds bursting open, bringing forth a new season of promise and hope. Here's some cheerful pink tulips, I snapped a few weeks ago, to brighten a rainy day.
