Hi, I'm Brooke. Welcome! I'm so happy you are here to join me as I venture along this path.
I live in suburban Minnesota with my amazing husband, my two lively little boys and my calico cat. I adore photography, decorating and design. But my most important job is being a full time mom. It's the best job a girl could ask for. Truly the most rewarding time of my life!
As you get to know me you'll learn that I am crazy about flowers, nature walks and gardening. Which is what inspires me to be a photographer.
I love capturing details. Small surprising details. The kind we usually miss in our everyday busy lives. I find myself being so amazed by the subtle and simple details mother nature has blessed us with. Like the way a butterfly gently and slowly opens and closes it's wings as it rests on a flower. Or the way a water droplet glistens like platinum if the light strikes it just right. Or the way pollen sprinkles the feet of a bustling bumble bee gathering nectar.
Noticing these details leaves me feeling enriched, helping me to cherish the world all around. I encourage all of you to slow down, enjoy the small details and maybe even stop and smell the flowers!
